The registrations for jio DTH is finally going to start between 10 to 15 May 2017. Jio has finally entered into DTH (D2H) industry. With 110 million of mobile user database, now Jio is going to provide you next level of home entertainment with its DTH service. Jio DTH is expected to work in very different way than the usual Airtel DTH and Tata Sky. You must be using JioTv on your phone with Jio SIM. The same way you will be able to use Jio DTH using an Android setup box or Apple setup box to stream any TV channel on your TV. The Jio DTH setup box will be powered through Jio broadband connection which will give a streaming speed up to 1 Gbps. You can watch any HD channel without buffering.
Jio DTH will have more than 300+ TV channels and more than 50+ HD channels. The development of this technology has already been started. You can expect the launch of Jio DTH next year.
Jio may soon going to open the public booking of Jio DTH. In addition there are a total of 432 channels listed on the offer. In these channels, 351 channels will be SD (standard definition) and rest of the 49 channels will be HD (high definition) with 1080p picture quality. Also remaining 32 channels can be view on 4K (ultra HD) resolution which is 4 times more clear than HD. However initially the TV will come free with 175 basical program channels and its confirmed.

Jio has no started yet the booking service yet but i will let you know the whole procedure in advance. The booking and registration can be done using my jio app as well as Jio official website later.

- Now you need to enter your basic details like mobile number, name and address
- For the sake of simplicity, i recommend you to use your jio mobile number
- Thereafter you will receive an OTP confirmation sms on your register number
- Put that OTP on the web page and your Customer ID, address will be verified.
- Also, you will get your DTH connection within 5-7 business days.
Keep your registered number safe with you for future. You will also receive your DTH Subscribe ID on that number and you will receive periodic updates.
