OnePlus 5T starts getting OxygenOS 5.0.2 Oreo Update

OnePlus 5T started receiving OxygenOS 5.0.2 Oreo update.Earlier OnePlus has rolled out Open Beta 5 build for the 5 and 5T smartphones. 




OnePlus 5t has 6.01-inch full-HD + Full Optic AMOLED display, with an aspect ratio of 18:9. The phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor.

OnePlus 5t was launched on Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) with Oxygen OS 4.7 that has features like Parallel Apps, Gallery Map, and several customizations.

But new 5T update comes as OxygenOS 5.0.2 and installs the Android Oreo v8.0 to the device. The changelog includes the latest versions of several apps which you can see below.

The update also installs the fixes Spectre and Meltdown vulnerabilities, this means January Security Patch is also there.

The update is rolling over-the-air will take time to reach every unit so be patient. Meanwhile, you can head over to the Setting’s menu of your device to manually check for the update.
